(Quran 44:3) Jashn-e-Nuzool-e-Quran and Amal of Laylat-ul-Qadr Night of 23 Ramadhan - on Thursday Sep 02, 2010 Regular program starts one hour before Namaz-e-Maghiribain Jashan will be held after Maghribain Prayer and Ifter Laylatul Qadr Amal & Recitation of Quran will be performed after Jashn Arrangement for Sahri will be done Important special announcement This special announcement is for a limited time offer for you to benefit your family, yourself and Al-Eman Society of Canada - Madinatulilm center at the same time. An organization is being set up to purchase and operate a Muslim Cemetery in Richmond Hill. This Cemetery is expected to be operational in the summer of 2011. For every $700 donated to the Al-Eman Society of Canada (Madinatulilm) during the holy Month of Ramadan, your Center will obtain access for burying an individual who may pass away after the Cemetery is operational. You will have the opportunity to assign this right to any individual of your choosing, or to a full refund at cost. No tax receipts will be issued. Cemeteries charge approximately $900 to open and close a grave. This additional Charge which will be set when the Cemetery is operational, will have to be paid when the grave is actually used. To participate you need to make a fully refundable deposit of $700 per person (per grave). Once the Cemetery is established and operational, Al-Eman Society of Canada (Madinatulilm) will establish a burial plan and you will become a pre-paid member of the plan for Grave cost only. The plan is open only to fully paid, bona-fide members of the Masjid. 2. What do I get for my $700. Please explain in simple terms a. By paying $700 one time, when the Cemetery is operational the Al-Eman Society of Canada (Madinatulilm) will allocate a grave to you to be used at your direction. If the Cemetery is not purchased then the money will be refunded. 3. Where is the Cemetery Located? a. In Richmond Hill. On Leslie Street just north of Stouffville road. 4. What is time frame for cemetery to be operational? a. InshaAllah, we are hoping cemetery to be operational in summer of 2011. 5. What are the other costs for burial? a. At time of death, currently it cost $900 to open and close a grave. Transportation is another $1000. 5a. Are the extra costs also fixed, or subject to change.? a. Future costs can only be expected to rise including cost of transportation and the labor to open and close graves. But we are going to do this using our own organization to keep this cost as low as possible. We will also look to establish an insurance policy to cover these extra costs. 6. Can I transfer my rights of grave to other people? a. Yes, you can transfer grave land right to any one including relative, friend or whom so ever you wish, as long as it is done for non-profit. (fisabilillah) 7. Can I sell my rights of grave? a. You are entitled to a full refund at any time. 8. Is there a limit on subscriptions? a. There is no limit on reasonable requests. The Masjid reserves the right to confirm that business is not being transacted. The Corporation which will operate the Cemetery has limited total sales to all Shia centers to 5000 graves. 9. Can I buy later? a. The current market price for graves is $1500 to $4000 depending on the Cemetery. The $700 price is only available to members and only for helping the Masjid subscribe to the initial offering. Afterwards the Corporation will sell graves at the set Market price. 10. Is this a good opportunity? a. If you do some research you will find that the availability of land for cemeteries in the GTA is limited. In the last 30 years GTA costs at York Cemetery have gone from $300 to $3000. We do not know where the $1500 cemeteries were back then. In New York we understand that today a grave costs $12,000. This is a clue about where are costs may be in 20 years. 10b. What is unique about this Cemetery. a. This will be the only Cemetery for all Muslims both Sunni and Shia. It will be run professionally by a Muslim organization. It has room for 40,000 graves. 11. Can I see this place? a. Yes, you are most welcome to see. Br. Sabi Ahsan at 416 931 1339 or Br.
